Care Association-Dundani Village Masjid has inaugurated!

What happened on October 05, 2020?

A volunteer team of Care Association had a visit to Tanzania on 05 October 2020 for water well openings and checked the previously drilled water wells.

The Care Association team, who came to open a water well to the Dundani village of Mkuranga in Pwani city, 50 km from the capital of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, , encountered Hafiz students studying under the sun in a very small and uncared Masjid covered with bushes.

Our volunteer team, who could not neglect this situation, started a campaign of the construction of the masjid/ madrasa was while still on the field so that children could easily take good education and their families could worship peacefully in a proper place. The campaign found immediate response, then construction started quickly in this area.

What happened on February 06, 2021?

The construction of the Masjid was completed in the village of Dundani in Pwani, Tanzania, where 150 children could take their Quran education and 450 families together with people from the surrounding villages could use it as a mosque for their religious education and worship. The mosque, which has a capacity of about 350, was opened on 06 February 2021.

The students will memorize the Quran under the shade more comfortably in this newly-built place.

What can we do?
