While we were making preparations for the health camp we held at the end of last month, our team, who went to the region for health screenings, encountered children trying to get education under difficult conditions near the hospital. These children used a makeshift hut made of grass for both prayer and education. As Çare Association, we could not remain indifferent to the needs of these children and started the construction of a 200-person masjid to be trained in a health camp. Before starting the health camp activities on October 29, our team, who walked with the local people to the mosque accompanied by hymns, opened the mosque with prayers. “We are just the means.”

With the help of Çare Doctors, Çare Association aims to help people who cannot reach health services in Tanzania regain their health, raise their hopes and say "Sağlık olsun=May you maintain your Health!" We continue our operations and cataract surgeries at the health camp we organized. Pre-screening of approximately 500 patients was conducted by the first team that went to the region last week, and their treatment methods and needs were determined. Africa is one of the continents that suffer from thirst. Nearly one billion people do not have access to clean water. In many settlements, people have to carry water to their homes by walking for kilometers. Drought caused by high temperatures negatively affects living conditions.
