Humanitarian Aid to the Hittin Palestinian Camp

We are in one of the Palestinian refugee camps surrounded by poverty, statelessness, and endless hardship — the Hittin Camp in Jordan.
With your generous support, food and hope are no longer distant dreams for the residents here. The food packages we prepared have brought a measure of comfort and relief to the lives of those in the camp.

A Stop in a Half-Century of Suffering: The Palestinian Camps

The Palestinian camps in Jordan are not newly established shelters like those formed during recent crises in Syria. On the contrary, they were established around 50 to 60 years ago, making them long-standing yet deeply impoverished and neglected communities.

Although over time these areas have developed into fully populated settlements, they remain severely underprivileged. The Hittin Camp we visited is home to an astonishing 100,000 people, all of them Palestinians — and heartbreakingly, about 20,000 of them fled from Gaza.

While some residents hold Jordanian identity cards, many have no legal identity at all, which only deepens their already difficult living conditions.
These camps are not merely places of refuge; they are witnesses to decades of Palestinian suffering, existing with significant shortcomings in infrastructure and social services.

The ongoing and severe need for humanitarian assistance in these camps makes them more dependent than ever on the support of the international community and charitable organizations.

Çare Association’s Comprehensive Food Relief Operation

As part of its humanitarian efforts for Gaza, Çare Association successfully completed the distribution of food parcels in the Palestinian refugee camps.
In the area you see, 1,000 food packages were carefully prepared and distributed to displaced Palestinian families living in the camps.

The entire distribution process was carried out in an organized and secure manner.
For safety and efficiency, camp authorities did not permit door-to-door delivery. Instead, families were invited to a designated central point within the camp to receive their aid packages.
Although the field teams conducted in-person assessments within the camp, security forces did not allow photo or video recording during the operation.

Hope Projects Rising Through Donations
