Arakanese Muslims and Ramadan

The blessings of Ramadan continue to bring joy to the faces of the Arakanese Muslims in Bangladesh, thanks to the efforts of the Çare Association. Through the aid provided during this holy month, we have touched the hearts of thousands.

Sharing iftar with our Muslim brothers and sisters

In Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh and in the madrasas throughout the country, we shared iftar dinners with our Muslim brothers and sisters. Since the beginning of Ramadan, we have provided iftar meals to 10,000 people. On average, we broke fast with 350 people in need each day. These iftar dinners have brought smiles to the faces of our oppressed brothers and sisters who were previously filled with hopelessness.

Distributing Eid allowances and food packages to orphaned children

The orphans living in the region were not forgotten. With the support of our sponsors, we distributed food packages to 50 Arakanese orphans under our care. In addition, we provided them with Eid allowances. These contributions will hopefully help the children look towards the future with hope.

Meeting the educational needs of madrasa students

We provided school supplies for a total of 62 orphaned students attending Talimü'l-Quran and Islamic madrasas. We hope that these contributions will enable the children to continue their education with ease and confidently move forward into the future.

Identifying needs by visiting camps

By visiting camps, we evaluated the situations of families in need. Through the donation of Islamic texts and zakat, we tried to make their lives a little easier and touch the hearts of many families.

Thanking our donors

All of these aid activities in Arakan were made possible by the valuable contributions of our donors. We extend our deepest gratitude to those who did not leave the Arakanese and Bangladeshi Muslims alone during Ramadan.

“We are only a means to an end.”
