2020 Wajib Qurban Organization in Somaliland

In 2020, Care Association conducted qurban organizations in 3 different regions of Somaliland. The qurbans, which were slaughtered on the first day of Eid, were distributed to 5,000 Muslim families in the village of Bella Gubella with the population of 15,000.

The qurban which were slaughtered on the second day of Eid, were also distributed to 1,600 Muslim families in the village of Galah with the population of 5,000. On the second day of the Eid, qurbans were slaughtered at the Hargeisa Rehabilitation and Orphan Centre in Golchano District and the meats of the qurbans were also given to this orphanage where 750 orphans stay.

On the third day of the Eid, the qurbans were slaughtered and the meats of the qurban were donated to Masella Mental Hospital, so hundreds of patients benefited.
