Fitra

Fitre (Sadaka-i Fitr) is a sadaqah that is obligatory to be given in Ramadan. While charity can be given at any time of the year, the fitrah must be delivered before the Eid al-Fitr prayer.

Note: High Council of Religious Affairs announced that with the decision he took after the meeting held in February under the chairmanship of Abdurrahman Haçkalı, the amount of the fitrah sadaqa for the year 2025 was determined as 130TL and that the citizens could give their fitrah sadaqa before the month of Ramadan for earthquake victims. Therefore, those who need to give fitra can also give their fitra before the month of Ramadan in cases such as natural disasters.
