General Surgical Operation

In regions of Africa and Asia where access to healthcare is limited, adults are left to struggle alone with medical conditions such as hernias, appendicitis, hydrocele, urinary tract stones, pilonidal sinus, and various tumors. While these operations are considered routine in developed countries, in these underserved areas, they remain out of reach due to insufficient medical infrastructure.

At Çare Association, we are addressing this urgent need through our Çare Doctors project. Volunteer specialist doctors from Türkiye travel several times a year to regions in Africa and Asia that lack proper healthcare, organizing intensive 10-day health camps. At the core of these camps are general surgical interventions that significantly improve quality of life.

Thanks to your support, the general surgical services we provide are among the most in-demand treatments in our camps. Performed by skilled and compassionate surgeons, these operations offer patients relief from long-standing pain and suffering. Each general surgery operation costs 3,000 TL, with a 1,000 TL contribution share.

So far, we have successfully completed over 400 general surgeries in the health camps we have organized, allowing patients to return to their lives with renewed health and hope. Through the generous support of our donors, we continue to raise the standard of living in our camps across countries like Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya.
