Be a drop of water, a bite of hope for the mothers and children who have taken refuge in Kenya.
On July 22, 2025, armed clashes broke out in Bula Hawa near the Somalia-Kenya border, disrupting the lives of thousands of civilians. As a result of intense fighting between the Somali Federal Government and Jubbaland forces, more than 1,500 families, including women, children, and the elderly, were forced to flee to Kenya’s Mandera town in search of safety.
These displaced families, now sheltering in schools and temporary camps, are in urgent need of basic necessities such as food, clean water, hygiene supplies, and medical assistance. Although local authorities in Kenya have mobilized, current resources fall short of addressing this major humanitarian crisis.
At Çare Association, with the support of our valued donors, we have conducted emergency relief operations in dozens of countries. Now, we are responding to the needs of families who have taken refuge at the Kenya border by providing essential humanitarian aid such as food, clean water, hygiene, and shelter. Civilians sheltered in schools and camps are waiting for support to access a warm meal, a bottle of clean water, and healthcare services.
