In the vast makeshift camps of Baidoa alone, hundreds of thousands of our brothers and sisters have been struggling to survive for nearly 20 years, with generations growing up under extremely difficult conditions.

As Çare Association, alongside our large-scale Medical Camp scheduled for July 25, 2026, we are launching a comprehensive Emergency Aid campaign. While our doctors treat the sick and wounded, let us also become a source of food for hungry families and clean water for those suffering from severe thirst.

How Much Does Somalia Emergency Aid Cost in 2026?

Within the scope of our Somalia Emergency Aid campaign, donation amounts have been determined as follows:

• Food Package for 1 Family: 1,500 TL
• Hot Meal for 1 Person: 150 TL
• Clean Water Tanker: 5,000 TL

During this major humanitarian mission on July 25, donors may choose to support a specific aid category. If you would like to contribute a different amount according to your budget, you can support our Somalia Emergency Aid Fund through our Flexible Donation option.

Our goal is to reach families who have been trapped in poverty and deprivation for over two decades as quickly as possible.

A 20-Year Humanitarian Crisis and Our Medical Camp

Baidoa is not merely a district or neighborhood; it is a vast city of deprivation stretching to the horizon, filled with makeshift shelters built from plastic sheets and tree branches. Millions of refugees have been trapped in these camps for nearly 20 years. Accessing clean water often requires dangerous journeys lasting hours, while malnutrition exposes children to life-threatening illnesses.

As Çare Association, we regularly organize Medical Camps for vulnerable communities with limited access to healthcare services. On July 25, we will conduct another large-scale medical mission in Baidoa. However, we know that medical treatment alone cannot provide lasting recovery where clean water and sufficient food are unavailable. Therefore, while our doctors provide healthcare services, we will simultaneously distribute food packages and clean water through our Somalia Emergency Aid campaign.

When will the Somalia Emergency Aid and Medical Camp take place?

When will I receive the video of my donation?

Personalized videos for food package, water tanker, and 10-person meal donations will be delivered to donors within a few days following the distribution activities beginning on July 25.

Can I donate my Zakat or Sadaqah to this campaign?

Yes. You may donate your food packages and hot meals as Zakat or Sadaqah. Simply indicate your intention in the donation notes section, and your contribution will be delivered to eligible families in need.

Will I receive a video if I donate a single meal for 150 TL?

Due to the scale of operations and the challenging conditions within Baidoa’s refugee camps, personalized videos are only available for donations of 10 meals (1,500 TL) or more. However, all 150 TL meal donations are collected and delivered with the same care and responsibility. A general campaign appreciation video will also be shared with donors.

Can I donate a different amount?

Absolutely. By selecting the Flexible Donation option during your online donation process, you may contribute any amount you wish to support our overall emergency aid efforts.
