In Uganda's Yumbe, the local community gained access to clean water at the very beginning of the "A Life for a Village Project," whose foundation we laid just a few days ago. We have started to make the water well, which we reached through deep drilling, available for the local people.
In the Yumbe region of Uganda, the water well constructed as part of the "A Life for a Village Project," initiated by Çare Association, became operational without waiting for the project's completion. With the completion of the water well, people in the surrounding areas immediately began to benefit from this source. This development has been a hopeful step for the local community; access to clean water has significantly improved their daily quality of life.
The water well and reservoir, completed in the first phase of the project, not only benefit the local community but also greatly contribute to the ongoing construction process. The water extracted from the well is being used in the construction work and has already started to meet the water needs of the nearby population. This situation allows for rapid progress in other phases of the project.
The "A Life for a Village Project" is expected to be completed within four months. During this period, structures such as a mosque, ablution area, dining hall, and memorization school will also be built. However, the water well that has already been opened is already bringing life to the region. As Çare Association, we continue to stand by the local community at every stage of the project and take great joy in the fact that the water, which will provide life to them, is already offering its benefits.
As Çare Association, we not only provide clean water through such projects but also uphold our humanitarian values. You can also join this movement of goodness and support the water well and complex projects in Yumbe with your donations.
